This course presents what the architect Ignasi de Solá-Morales affirms when he says that: “… any problem of intervention is always a problem of interpretation of an existing architectural work (…). An intervention is as much as trying to get the building to say something again and say it in a certain direction. Depending on the way in which the intervention occurs, the results will be one or the other. ” Therefore, the problem of intervening requires some theorization and critical consideration.
This approach proposes, from the project scope, the confrontation of this type of situations in the specifically Venezuelan sphere, focusing on the most recent heritage of modernity, which is mainly our urban landscape.
