El Ingenio zoobotanical park

El Ingenio Zoobotanical Park is an integral complex of 201 hectares, located northwest of the town of Guatire at the foot of El Ávila National Park.

It will be used for recreational, botanical, zoological, tourist, cultural, artistic and research purposes in the botanical, zoological and scientific branches, especially for the preservation of biodiversity. Its development is based on 5 transversal conceptual axes: Recreational – tourism, Environmental protection, Opportunities for education and research, Expression and promotion of local identity, and nucleus of endogenous development. The area of intervention is conformed by the plain of the river Guatire that develops along the one with a length of 1.275mts
